Recently, Starbucks came out with a limited time Unicorn Frappuccino. But, unfortunately for me, every Starbucks I visited no longer offered the magical drink because they were out of supplies to make the drink.
So, what’s the next best thing?
Well, in mid-March, my sister, my friend and I all went to 4cats for another mug making workshop! This time it is for their mug-of-the-season unicorn mugs! The moment I saw this workshop on my news feed, I was so stoked to sign-up and participate. This is my third time participating in these types of workshops. Previously, I made a monster mug and penguin mug. The workshop is about 1.5 hours long, with step-by-step instructions. All you have to do is book a time online, show up and make your mug, and they will do the ‘baking’.
Below are photos from our evening!
The hardest part aside from trying to paint within the lines, was making the horn. Since my horn was rather narrow, I had to pay extra close attention to it drying up and breaking, and needed to reapply water as I was twisting the horn into the desired shape.
The unicorn mug was very popular, and I think they still have it going on right now. It took about a month before our mugs were ready for pick-up.
I really love doing these mug making workshops! It is a great date night idea, bonding opportunity and also very therapeutic. It costs $35 for 2 people, $45 for 3 people, and $55 for 4 people (before taxes). If you are looking or something fun to do, I definitely recommend checking out
Until next post!
